This House Had A Full Basement that allowed steel easily but created a problem in moving off Basement.
Vandals had destroyed several windows before moving began.
Porch will be supported and moved all in one piece.
Notice the unusually long bricks.
North end of house.
Doghouse that gained access to basement from the exterior will be severed and moved.
These three walls will be removed and roof supported.
Chimney will be lowered to roof level and steel ran through chimney in basement,this will keep fireplaces in tact.
Crossloading steel waiting to be installed.
This steel goes through main steel.
Steel continues through garage and will support outside walls.
Notice walls removed and roof supported.
Electrical Riser will probably interfere with wires at intersections, etc.
Crew adding shims preparing to raise house.
Shims were installed all though to insure a level move, this will help to prevent damage upstairs.
Lower part of Chimney will be removed and notice steel running thru Chimney
Lost a fireplace in Basement.
Timber to support steel is stacked carefully.
Busy installing shims at ceiling level where steel meets ceiling.
